Job Description

An established Eastern PA construction company is looking for a Construction Project Manager-Commercial to oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously. Are you a team player that will lead and manage the on-site construction team, oversee all work on-site, work with GC's , sub-contractors, vendors, and suppliers, as well as fellow team members? Construction Project Manager-Commercial responsibilities:

  • Communicate professionally with building owners, engineers, architects, GC's, subcontractors, building inspectors, and team members
  • Manage change-orders, job schedules, logistics, vendors, suppliers, and job materials
  • Provide status reports, monitor progress, prepare change orders, obtain shop drawings and samples
  • Handle monthly costs and expenses, final closeouts, inspections, field drawings, and final "as-builts"
  • Attend meetings as required and maintain a clean and safe job site

Construction Project Manager-Commercial Requirements:

  •  Proven track record as construction Project Manager with either a GC or subcontractor
  •  In-depth understanding of construction procedures and materials, and project management principles
  • Knowledge of MS Office and construction/project management software
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, time management, and organizational skills
  • BS/BA in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred
