Qualifications for Mechanical Engineer:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- A minimum of five years' relevant and recent experience, or a comparable mix of education and/or professional background.
- Essential: Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) / Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification. Desirable: Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Expertise in software tools such as SolidWorks Simulation, AutoPIPE Advanced, Codeware COMPRESS, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Role Duties of a Mechanical Engineer:
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of client requirements, devise strategic plans for the engineering aspects of projects, and supervise the design process.
- Execute autonomous engineering analyses, draft technical documentation, and perform assessments to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and regulatory standards.
- Select appropriate components and instruments based on design and contractual needs of projects. Generate and confirm specifications sheets for procurement and client interactions.
- Review designs to guarantee alignment with engineering calculations, relevant codes/standards, and client expectations. Address Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) related to engineering and design for allocated projects.
